With over 21 years as a financial adviser and seven years hosting The Everyday Investor Podcast since 2017, Darcy won multiple industry awards, pioneered a non-commission mortgage advice model, then built and exited Ungaro & Co in late 2024.
His award-winning podcast, The Everyday Investor Podcast (with over 500 episodes) covers personal finance all the way to global macro.
Through fee-based consulting, bespoke KiwiSaver advice, and holistic investment strategies, Darcy's expertise spans investment properties, precious metals, shares, managed funds, business ventures, and digital assets.
Canadian-born but a New Zealander since the 90s, he plays golf poorly, but tries to be a good Dad/husband/ investment adviser.
David joined Radical Investment in November 2024, bringing with him more than 3 decades of experience providing advice to Estates, Trusts, Charities, Individuals, and Companies in the form of financial planning and share broking at nationally and internationally prominent firms.
David's extensive history has taken him through Financial and Management Accounting roles spanning the Chartered Accountancy, Media, Plastics, Oil, and Legal professions. From his time spent in these various roles he has accumulated a breadth of knowledge and experience of business in general, as well as the unique particulars of each of these industries.
David is a Wairarapa local and lover of animals, golf, bowls, walking and volunteering his time locally to serve the community.
Born and raised in Lower Hutt, Wellington, Niraj began his career in financial services in 2013 and now has over a decade of experience specialising in investments, KiwiSaver, and retirement planning.
Now based in Timaru after moving from Wellington in 2020, Niraj joined Radical Investment in 2025.
Outside of work, Niraj trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and serves as Treasurer on the committee for the not-for-profit BJJ club. He enjoys working out at the gym with his personal trainer, playing video games with friends, watching stand-up comedy, and getting outdoors — whether camping, attempting golf, or taking his dog Moose on adventures with his partner.
Niraj is also actively involved in the local community, running free financial education sessions at the Timaru Library.
